Your key, or ours
Your own key · free
Add a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, xAI, Groq and more, and pick a model per feature. You pay the provider at cost. Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
Included with Supporter
No key to manage: AI runs on our keys within a monthly allowance, and a meter in your settings shows what you've used. When it runs out, your own key takes over if you've added one.
Either way, no AI runs on your data until you allow it.

No investors, no ads. Users paying for what they use.
Servers in France
The API and the database run on OVH machines in France, and they carry every free account too.
AI bills
Supporter AI runs on our keys, and every call is paid to the provider at its token price.
Development time
OpenAthlete is built by an independent developer in Grenoble, an ultra runner, with contributors on GitHub. Supporters pay for the hours that go into it.

Billing questions
Yes. €5 a month and €50 a year are what you pay, VAT included.
From the Subscription tab of your settings, at any time. Supporter stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account goes back to Free with all your data.
Yes, from the same place. Yearly costs €50, two months less than twelve monthly payments.
Nobody is removed: your athletes stay linked to you and keep all their data. You can't add new athletes while you coach more than five, and AI on our keys stops at the end of the paid period.
Once the iOS app is out, you'll be able to subscribe with an in-app purchase through the App Store. On the web, payment goes through Stripe.
Yes. Payment goes through Stripe, and your invoices are in the billing portal linked from your settings.
No, because the free plan already has the whole app. Supporter only adds AI on our keys and unlimited athletes; try everything else for free first.
Yes. Without billing set up, an instance sells nothing and limits nobody. You pay for your own server and, if you give the instance AI keys, your provider's bills.
Not yet, because there is no club account yet. Each coach only pays above five athletes, or the club runs its own instance for free.
