For clubs and associations
One training platform for the whole club
Straight answer first: there is no club account yet, no squads, no club billing. What exists already works for clubs, and it comes with an option nobody else offers: running the whole platform on the club's own server.
Two ways to run a club on it
Pick the one that fits your club
Option 1 · On our servers
Each coach runs their own account
Every coach gets a free account for up to five athletes, or Supporter for as many as they like. An athlete can have several coaches: the running coach and the strength coach plan in the same calendar. A group conversation keeps the training group in the loop.
- Free for coaches with five athletes or fewer
- €50 a year per coach above five
- Several coaches per athlete, group chat
- Hosted in France, nothing to install
Option 2 · On the club's server
Our pick for clubsThe club runs its own OpenAthlete
One command on a small server and the club has its own instance at its own address. No athlete limit, no subscription, and members sign in with the accounts the club already gives them.
- Single sign-on with Authentik, Keycloak or any OpenID Connect provider
- Sign-up by invitation only, or closed
- No limits, no fees, data on your server
- AI on the club's keys, or a local model
- Sends nothing to OpenAthlete
COROS sync works out of the box. Garmin, Suunto, Polar and Strava ask the club to register with each brand's developer program, and Garmin and Suunto approve partners one by one. File import always works.
Option 2 in practice
A club server in one command
A small Linux server with Docker is enough: 1 GB of RAM, and the whole stack uses about 250 MB at rest. The script writes the configuration with fresh secrets, gets an HTTPS certificate and starts everything. Sign-up is invite-only from the first minute.
- 1Rent a small server, or use the club's, and install Docker
- 2Point training.yourclub.org at it
- 3Run the script, create the first account, invite your coaches

Clubs ask
Not yet. Each coach has their own account, and athletes can have several coaches. If the club wants one place for everyone, its own instance is the closest thing today.
On our servers, each coach is free up to five athletes and pays €50 a year beyond that. On the club's own server, nothing: no limits and no subscription, only the server itself.
You decide: open sign-up, invitation only (the default when the install script sets up a domain) or closed. With single sign-on, members use the accounts the club already manages.
No. Activities come from Garmin, COROS, Suunto, Polar and Strava, or as files. Planned workouts are sent to Garmin, COROS and Suunto watches.
On our service, the API and the database run on OVH servers in France. On a club instance, on the club's server and nowhere else: it sends nothing to OpenAthlete.
Start with one coach and one group
Try it free on our servers with one coach and a training group. If the club likes it, give it its own server.
Free forever. No credit card.
